On June 13, 2024, STELLA (formally LMxAC) will launch a brand new library catalog with its member libraries!

FAQ:

Will the catalog that we use to search for books be the same?

No. Clark will be migrating from our current catalog to a one managed by STELLA. It will be able to search for items in all the LMxAC libraries, not just Clark.

What can I borrow from other STELLA libraries?

Books (including New Books), CDs, DVDs, magazines, and other items. But some STELLA libraries may not lend all items to cardholders outside of their library.

Will I be able to return books from other STELLA libraries to Clark?

Yes. You will also be able to return Clark materials to other STELLA libraries. Hotspots, VOX Books, Museum Passes, iPads, and Chromebooks must be returned to Clark.

Can I place holds on items at other STELLA libraries?

Yes. You will be able to place holds on items owned by other STELLA libraries and have them sent to Clark.

Will Clark still participate in M.U.R.A.L.?

Yes. But Clark residents will have automatic access to a majority of MURAL libraries in Middlesex and Union counties through STELLA.
