Afternoon Book Club (Meets every 4-6 weeks at 1:00pm)
Next Meeting is Tuesday, July 16 at 1:00pm in Board Room
We will be discussing “Something in the Water” by Catherine Steadman. Erin is a documentary filmmaker on the brink of a professional breakthrough, Mark a handsome investment banker with big plans. Passionately in love, they embark on a dream honeymoon to the tropical island of Bora Bora, where they enjoy the sun, the sand, and each other. Then, while scuba diving in the crystal blue sea, they find something in the water. Suddenly the newlyweds must make a dangerous choice: to speak out or to protect their secret. Evening Book Club (Meets every other month at 7:00pm)

We will be discussing “Less” by Andrew Sean Greer. Receiving an invitation to his ex-boyfriend’s wedding, Arthur, a failed novelist on the eve of his fiftieth birthday, embarks on an international journey that finds him falling in love, risking his life, reinventing himself, and making connections with the past. Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk.

Books & Brews Book Club (Meets every other month at 7:00pm at the Clark Bar at Whole Foods Market – 1255 Raritan Rd #150, Clark NJ, 07066). Next Meeting is Monday, September 9 at 7:00pm. The Clark Public Library & Whole Foods Market invite you to join us for our bi-monthly book club at the Clark Bar. September’s book is “Voices from Chernobyl” by Svetlana Alexievich.
